Roy Keane says his first date with wife of 26 years went 'very badly'

Irish football legend Roy Keane has shared that while he has been happily married for almost three decades, his first date did not go according to plan with beloved wife Theresa Doyle.

The sport star shared an anecdote about his younger years when he was still playing professionally and he started to date his now wife.After sharing that he was not really one for "chasing women" in his younger years, he only "had one really proper date" with his wife at the beginning of their relationship.

And she got out , I said I might see you next week? She said 'I don't think so' and slammed the door.Unfortunately for Roy, the first date was a bit of a disaster, in his own words, it went "very badly."
