Roy Keane pokes fun at England and fellow pundits after draw with Slovenia

Roy Keane poked fun at England and his fellow pundits after Gareth Southgate's side drew 0-0 with Slovenia on Tuesday. The result meant England finish top of Group C, but fans were far from impressed with their performance.

"We go back to it, simplify it, focus on the next game. England have an unbelievably talented group of players, but that doesn't guarantee anything. You need a bit of luck, you need that team to come together and you need your strikers turning up. They've not quite done that yet, but I think they're still going along nicely and they'll be a threat."

England bossed possession against well-drilled Slovenia but were unable to turn their dominance into a morale-boosting victory as Tuesday’s clash in Cologne ended goalless and with more groans. “I don’t think we were going to go from where we were to winning three or four nil – it’s not realistic in the intensity of the game,” Southgate told ITV.

““They are really young players so we’re balancing blooding them in a different environment, but they had a really good impact when they came on and used the ball really well,” Southgate added.
