Jonathan Roche insists the ‘noise’ from rival First Division clubs won’t deter Shamrock Rovers II from their objectives this season.Other First Division sides have threatened to boycott Rovers II games, while the possibility of a mass withdrawal from the league was discussed.

Limerick’s inclusion would make it an 11-team league with two rounds of games and a Shield, otherwise it will be a 10-team league with three rounds of matches.
