Adeleke ran a time of 10.84 seconds to win the women's 100m final at the Texas Invitational on Saturday

Rhasidat Adeleke proved she is one of the fastest women in the world as she beat two former world champions in Texas.

The Dubliner finished 0.1 seconds clear of American Celera Barnes and 0.26 seconds ahead of third-place finisher Great Britain's Dina Asher-Smith, the 2019 world champion at 200m.In fourth place was Julien Alfred, the reigning world indoor 60m champion. But the 21-year-old's run won't go into the record books, as wind assistance was recorded at 3.5 metres per second, which is above the 2.0 limit.
