Revenue seize just under €4m worth of illicit rolling tobacco at Dublin Airport

Revenue officers have seized rolling tobacco with an estimated value of just under €4 million at Dublin Airport .

The seizure was made at the airport on Sunday as part of an intelligence-led operation with the assistance of detector dog, Milo. and represents a a potential loss to the Exchequer of over €2,919,000. The seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the supply and sale of illegal cigarettes and tobacco in the shadow economy.
