Protests outside abortion clinics 'a threat to the future of the service' - GP

That's according to Dr Trish Horgan, Cork GP and provider of early medical abortions.

"So in the absence of those legal protections, I think it's not surprising we've seen many examples of protests outside GP surgeries and at maternity hospitals since 2019.""Those protests are distressing and disrespectful, not just to women attending for abortion services but for all our service users coming to our facilities - having to encounter inappropriate, graphic placards and white coffins and so on," she said.

"The protests actually have far-reaching effects beyond the local facility that's being targeted on that day.

It's not a protest. it's a group of people praying. If the power of those prayers keeps even one child alive, it will have being worth it

They are disgusting, they used to protest outside the rotunda! Its not fair on the women

These chridtian abortion protesters should go and protest against paedophile priests outside churches instead

And abortionists' activities inside these places? Are these not so often a threat to the future of life itself?
