Carsie Blanton is currently on tour around Ireland following the release of her newest record After the Revolution

U.S. protest singer Carsie Blanton is tearing through a tour of Ireland, captivating audiences with a series of shows hot on the heels of her latest record, After the Revolution.

'Tour Ireland every year' Now just a few months later, Carsie is back and touring in towns and cities all over, living up to the goal of setting off to “tour Ireland every year”. “And we were. So we kind of made some wish lists for what we wanted to do after the pandemic and at the top was Ireland, we wanted to tour Ireland every year because we just love it there.

“So my political journey has gone through sort of the stages of grief. I had a record called Love and Rage, which was much more about grief and rage and disappointment. John Prine Carsie says her connection with Ireland was partly solidified through the late country and folk music icon John Prine, who spent much of his last two decades around the majestic south Galway village of Kinvara.
