Profits soar to €430,000 as Weddings by Franc firm accommodates Ukrainians

The event management company co-owned by celebrity wedding planner Peter Kelly – better known as Franc – saw its annual profits almost quadruple to nearly €430,000 last year, according to its latest accounts.

The company was back with a bang last year, however, with accounts just filed to the Companies Office showing that it made a profit of €428,137 during the last financial year.READ MORE: Government looking to buy properties with 150 bedrooms for refugee accommodation It was reported in 2022 that the company had entered a contract worth €622,440 with the state for the accommodation of Ukrainian refugees at a former convent in Rosscarbery, Co Cork.

Peter Kelly and his wife Eadaoin Morrish are listed as directors and hold equal shareholdings in the Cork-based company, which is engaged in wedding planning and event design.
