President Higgins meets with church leaders

President Michael D. Higgins has met with church leaders at Áras an Uachtaráin today in what has been described as a"focused, but relaxed and informal conversation" on a range of issues.

The context for meeting centred on a"shared commitment to reconciliation and peacebuilding" on the island of Ireland.

What an utter waste of time and totally irrelevant in this day and age. Which bit of 'you are not important anymore' do the church's not get?
