The changes will result in some fees being more than doubled for business current account holders

Permanent TSB will raise the fees it charges to business current account holders for various services, including ATM withdrawals and teller deposits, effective from August 25.

The lender will also raise quarterly maintenance fees for business current account holders from €3.81 to €8.00. “Permanent TSB is implementing a number of changes to the fee structure for current accounts for business and SME customers,” it said in a statement accompanying the announcement.
