"Little did I know allowing a bit of telly in the gaff would foster a speech impediment in my child - an English accent," she said."But I did have to dial back on the telly when my little fella, who's only three and a half, asked me to procure something from the cupboard."I was pretty devastated, my blood ran cold," she said."I had to correct him and obviously, it goes without saying, it's a press.
"I had no idea what this child was talking about; that's when I knew we were going a little bit overboard on the Cbeebies.""A couple of weeks ago we were walking along the peer here in Dingle and he stops and asks me, 'Can we go the seaside?'" she said."It made no sense whatsoever"."With TG4 obviously you do run the risk that he's going to develop Galway Irish," she said.
