Normal People star Paul Mescal and Indie rock star Phoebe Bridgers appear to have confirmed rumours of a relationship after they were spotted on a romantic stroll in London over the weekend.

The Irish actor, 25, and US singer, 26, were first linked last summer after Bridgers started watching Normal People on the recommendation of Phoebe Waller Bridge, telling Variety: “After the pandemic had started, Phoebe told me to watch Normal People. I was very much avoiding watching it because I thought it might be too sad, because I really loved the book, and it’s very depressing.”She revealed that Paul quickly followed her back, and said: “I got a little pitter-patter in my heart when I saw.

During an interview with GQ in November, he confirmed he was in a relationship and described his girlfriend as a “lifesaver”, but refused to name the lucky lady. Months later, they were spotted at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in England, and onlookers told the Mail On Sunday at the time that they were “all over each other”.
