Panti Bliss teases that Denys will dress up in drag on Dancing with the Stars

Panti Bliss has teased that professional partner Denys Samson could get glammed up in drag for a performance on Dancing with the Stars.Panti is also the third drag queen to take part in the franchise overall, following Courtney Act in the Australian version and Shangela in the US.

“Obviously we hope to get to the final, we might not, but we have conversations about all sorts and every now and then we think about what we might do along the way.“If anyone is slightly resistant it’s me, because I want to be the pretty one in the pair [laughs].” “[Strictly] only did it a few years ago so we’re not that far behind, but it does seem like it’s about time.

Panti has unfortunately had to endure vile trolling and online abuse over the years but is pleasantly surprised at how positively the nation has reacted to her and Denys dancing together. Last week, show frontrunner Suzanne Jackson performed a jive but lost her timing and made a number of mistakes.
