Mayor of the Spanish city of Pamplona cancels the San Fermin bull-running festival for a second year because of the coronavirus pandemic

"It is with regret that I am forced to officially cancel the San Fermin festival for this year 2021", Enrique Maya told a news conference.

Last year's cancellation was the first in over four decades and was a big financial blow to Pamplona's bars, restaurants and hotels. These interim restrictions will remain until Friday night, Mr McGowan said, when they would be reviewed. The Thai embassy in New Delhi said in a statement that certificates of entry for non-Thai nationals travelling from India will be suspended until further notice.

Hats off for Mayor Enrique Maya. A highly commendable decision that'll save many lives.

I bet the bulls are celebrating 👏🏻👏🏻

It should be banned forever barbaric. Cowardly weak minded people

Good. Should be cancelled permanently. No need for it.

Could they not just... cancel it forever? It's barbaric.

That's bullshit

No yank dudebros getting trampled for the second year running. What will they do for kicks now?

I'm happy for the bulls.
