Six months on from leaving her popular lunchtime slot, Galway native Pamela Joyce says she misses working in radio but has no regrets about leaving Dublin to move back home

The former radio presenter walked away from her hugely popular lunchtime slot on the station in a shock move last November. Pamela explained at the time that she missed living in her native Galway and wanted to move back to be closer to her family.

The presenter took stock and seriously considered the future of her radio show, having replaced veteran Today FM host Mairead Ronan back in 2022, when she realised how much time she was spending commuting between Dublin and Galway. " was absolutely the right decision, I didn't make it lightly. It was a very big decision and I thought about it for a long time but not once have I looked back and thought, 'Oh sugar, have I done the right thing?'. I absolutely did.
