The world was left in a collective shock last week after it was revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton had been battling cancer.

It's tough news for any family to get, no matter whether you're royalty or whatever a 'normal' family is," the Galway publican said. "My own personal thought on the matter at the time was that after the abdominal surgery, there was some sort of illness there."He said that, seeing as Galway was European Capital of Culture at the time, the pair figured it was the perfect spot to nab a traditional Irish pub experience.
"Myself and my parents were the first to greet them when their motorcade pulled up out the back of the pub. So we presented them with a bottle of Midleton whiskey as a Tig Cóili welcome present. Aonghus insisted that people remember Kate and William's humanity, pointing to the magnitude of the outside pressures they face daily.
