One man, 30s, charged in connection with fatal stabbing in Finglas

A man has been charged in relation to the fatal stabbing at a domestic residence in Finglas on Friday.

The victim, Brian Hogan, 39, was stabbed to death on Collins Place in Finglas, North Dublin, after 7pm on January 13.Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at the scene but he was pronounced dead a short time later.Officers believed a row broke out among a number of people before Mr Hogan was stabbed, however, detectives do not believe the killing was feud-related - but may have been linked to drugs.

A garda spokesperson said on Sunday: "Gardaí have charged one man who was arrested on Friday, 13th January 2023 in relation to the fatal assault of a man that occurred at a domestic residence in Collins Place, Finglas, Dublin 11.
