The broadcaster released the first images of the new season and it's telling that James is nowhere to be seen. Mmm, we still think he'll be making some sort of appearance/contribution though.

In terms of the plot, the series will be set two years on from the events of Season 1, with Alyssa still dealing with the fallout of the events of the first season.As mentioned previously, the second season of the BAFTA-nominated show sees the introduction of a new character called Bonnie, played by Naomi Ackie .

In terms of the talent behind the screen, Charlie Covell returns to write The End of the Fucking World which is inspired by the characters from the award-winning series of comic books by Charles Forsman.
