Odion Ighalo has confirmed his desire to turn his loan spell at Manchester United into a permanent move.
The 30-year-old has been an instant hit at United, scoring four goals in eight appearances, with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having hinted at making Ighalo's switch a permanent one. “I am inspired by a lot of things at United,” said Ighalo, speaking rom his home during the coronavirus lockdown.“Seeing the club from the outside you don't know how big it is. But when you are inside you know how big the club is.“I am inspired by the development of the young players and how they are coming through from the grassroots to the first-team.”
But the former Nigeria international has vindicated United's decision, scoring important goals and proving he can still perform at the highest level.
