NPHET to advise new restrictions for ALL households in Ireland

The National Public Health Emergency Team will advise the Government that households should be allowed only six visitors from one other home.

The new measure, which is currently in place in both Dublin and Donegal, could now be put in place for all counties under a Level 2 alert as early as Friday.This comes despite concerns over Monaghan, Roscommon, Cork and Galway, all of which have seen a spike in their individual incidence rates. NPHET met today to discuss what to do next in Ireland's fight against Covid-19, and will present their recommendation to Cabinet.The news comes after Dr Ronan Glynn said the window of opportunity to snuff out the disease spread in was closing."I would liken it to a forest fire where we see lots of embers and small issues arising in different places.
