NPHET told the government that their approach over the next couple of months needs to be one of “extreme caution” and warned that “‘normal’ life is likely still some way off.” The Department of Health published the advice that NPHET gave to the government prior to Taoiseach Micheál Martin making the decision to extend Level Five restrictions for at least another six weeks.
