A further 13 deaths associated with Covid-19 have been recorded in Northern Ireland, with 592 new cases.

There are 592 new cases from tests on 2,992 individuals.

The average seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population for Northern Ireland is 216.1, which is the lowest it has been since 22 December. It was originally planned that pupils could return to pre-school, primary and nursery schools following the midterm break in the middle of next month.
