The broadcaster said that inflation and the cost of living meant she needed to do much of the work herself

Irish radio presenter, columnist and former GP Ciara Kelly has given us some major motivation to get a few bits organised in our own homes by sharing her conservatory room renovation in her Dublin property.

She shared that the renovation cost her €350 in total, and that she did much of the heavy lifting herself, keeping the costs down. In the place of piles of bedding and dust bunnies sits a gorgeous wooden table, with six mismatched suede pink dining chairs. The overall look is eclectic, fashionable and relaxing, with dinner candles, dried flowers and a statement ox skull art work mounted on the wall.

"I primed the PVC and aluminium so u could paint it & voila … a sun room that opens up the back of the house for very little money... probably about €350 & a bit of elbow grease."Please email sarah.magliocco@reachplc.com with the details of you home DIY project, the costs associated, a before and an after photo, your name and where you are from and we might be in touch.
