LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman has been accused of acting 'awkward' around his PGA Tour rival Rory McIlroy, after the former world No. 1 shocked golf fans by attending this week's Masters as a patron.
And according to those in attendance, the Saudi-backed league's boss attempted to catch the attention of the four-time major champion, but to no avail. He is turned around talking to people but as soon as Rory walks up he like is looking at him and staring at him awkwardly.
Norman left many surprised when opting to turn out at Augusta during Wednesday's opening round. Taking to social media, the LIV CEO's son, Greg Jr confirmed his two-time major-winning father was forced to source his own ticket via a secondary market having initially being denied one via the 'professional channels'.
