Met Éireann has forecast sharp to severe frosts this week, as temperatures are set to drop across Ireland.Met Éireann said that the advisory is valid from 4pm tomorrow until midnight on Friday.Much colder for the rest of the week, with sharp to severe frosts and icy stretches. Some wintry showers too.— Met Éireann December 1, 2020 It said temperatures would drop below zero tomorrow night and there was also a possibility of hail and thundery showers.

Thursday will be very cold with widespread heavy showers or longer spells of rain. Some showers may turn wintry on high ground in the west.Many areas will be dry with clear spells and a sharp ground frost, leading to some icy patches.
