Met Eireann has said that this weekend's sunny conditions will undergo drastic changes from next week onwards.
"It will be a little cooler along southern and eastern coasts in mainly moderate easterly winds, winds fresh at times in the southwest," the national forecaster has said. From the afternoon, thickening clouds will push in from the north with some showery rain developing over Ulster and north Connacht towards evening.
"Becoming cloudier through the night with showers over northern parts slowly extending southwards, however staying most frequent over Ulster. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light to moderate west to northwesterly winds." Wednesday night will see more scattered showers and low temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees are likely to cause localised frost possible in areas with light northerly or variable breezes.
