Met Eireann has pinpointed where the two warmest areas in Ireland will be today and it looks like the south west and south east will be able to make brilliant use of being near a beach this weekend.
Leinster will be dry and sunny today, and feeling warm away from the coast, with highs of 16 or 17 degrees in inland counties. Munster is set to see scorching temperatures, with highs of 15 to 18 or 19 degrees, warmest in the west, but a few degrees cooler near southern coasts, resting at just 13 or 14 degrees.
