Met Eireann may issue a red weather warning as Storm Hannah hits the south west with gusts of 130km/h.Storm Hannah is hurtling across the Atlantic and is expected to hit the southwest coast of Ireland.
Liz Walsh of Met Eireann said the winds will be strongest between 6pm this evening and 1am on Saturday morning.Flooding isn't expected but rain bands are likely to move in from the Atlantic from midday. They are asking road users to be aware of objects being blown out onto the road, and to expect the unexpected.Meanwhile in the UK, Storm Hannah is set to bring strong winds and colder conditions, with temperatures expected to plunge more than 10 degrees in some parts.
