Ireland can expect a turbulent week ahead with plenty of heavy rain and temperatures plummeting as low as 1C in the coming days.
A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued by Met Eireann for Leinster, Munster, Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.The weather warning is valid until Tuesday at 3pm.The forecaster said: "Heavy rain is expected in some areas with a risk of local flooding, especially in the southwest, west and northwest.A status yellow rainfall warning has also been issued by the UK Met Office for Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry.
