Met Eireann has confirmed dry weather and long spells of sunshine this week with highs hitting a very welcome 19 degrees.There will be some sunshine but bouts of cloudiness as well.A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Largely dry across most of the country today with sunny spells and just a few showers. Rather cloudy over Ulster with the chance of patchy rain or drizzle at times over the northern half of the province.
"Turning cloudier in southern coastal areas during the day with the chance of some rain or drizzle along southern coasts. Maximum temperatures generally ranging from 13 to 17 degrees, with light northeast breezes.""A mostly cloudy day with some patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle at times. Becoming largely dry by the evening with sunny spells developing in parts. Highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees, in a light to moderate northerly wind."Met.
