Mastermind is holding auditions over Skype for next series - but how do you audition?

The beloved quiz series will return for a new run with presenter John Humphrys putting contestants through their paces in the iconic black leather chair.

However, as the coronavirus pandemic has impacted on the usual audition process, all auditions for the series will be virtual and conducted over video calls. Once you have applied if your application is of interest then the show's team will contact you and you will be invited to audition over Skype. Faye White wrote for The Birmingham Tab in 2016: "The producer said if I don’t hear back within the next two months, to assume I haven’t made it through to the next round.Meanwhile, last year Queen's Quiz Society shared details on a more recent audition last year.
