“My family kept me grounded and my friends, my daughter in particular. It was weird coming out of that bubble and into reality but the people were fantastic. She shared that there were counsellors on hand for people during her season if people needed someone to talk to. “I thought at the time that they looked after the younger crowd great and if I needed anybody I’m sure I would have gotten it.
