Marty Morrissey says Brendan Grace's death is a 'huge loss to Ireland'

The veteran sports presenter described the legendary comedian’s death as a “huge loss to Ireland”.

“And then I started getting letters from Florida and it was very complimentary and eventually a second letter came and I wrote back and I said, ‘Thank you very much you are so kind, but who is this?’ and he said, ‘It’s Brendan Grace’. I couldn’t believe he took the time to write a“So then I wanted to meet him and we ended up doing a kind of movie together and he was the judge and I was doing a cameo as a reporter.

The GAA broadcaster will be casting an eye over the fashions at Kerrygold Irish Oaks at The Curragh Racecourse this weekend. “Obviously, I have a passion for sport, but I also love style and delighted that men can enter this year – so lads get suited and booted this weekend and head to the Curragh.”
