A mandatory order for everyone to stay at home for a two-week period until 12 April, apart from certain exceptions, is in effect across the country.
Under the new restrictions, people not 'cocooning' can leave their homes for a walk/run within a 2km limit, but can travel beyond the 2km limit for food shopping. It also confirmed 302 further Covid-19 cases, rising the total number of confirmed cases in the Republic to 2,121. The President of the Intensive Care Society of Ireland warned that Covid-19 is more contagious than originally thought and urged all people to stay at home.
It's incredible that this was not clear to everybody from the start. If such a basic simple blatantly obvious thing needed to be clarified afterwards, then somebody should be sacked.
You should state in your report who in the government has issued this clarification that people can travel beyond the 2km limit for food shopping. Not your fault, of course, but that exemption is still not listed here -

Absolute joke loads of business still open lockdown should mean total closures off everything bar shops & chemist loads off needless shops still open in malls all over t country were crowds can gather government are a joke
Not planning on breaking the rules but based on these regulation there’s nothing to stop you getting your 10 mile run in if you run 5 miles to the supermarket buy a loaf and head home, the rules are a bit vague
