A 42-year-old man who helped the Kinahan Organised Crime Group by buying a mobile top-up for a leading member of the international crime gang has been jailed for two years.

Noel Kirwan was shot dead as he sat in his car in the driveway of his home at St Ronan's Drive in Clondalkin three days before Christmas 2016. Ms Justice Caroline Biggs accepted that while Crotty was reckless as to whether the top-up would be used in the commission of a crime, there was no evidence he knew it would be used in a murder.
