Thirty-seven-year-old Brendan Doolin from Leighlin Road, Crumlin, was described as a total recluse who never left his home and became an internet troll.The women were targeted by Doolin because they were journalists and writers with a strong social media presence, particularly on Twitter. She said she was scared for her safety and scared that people close to her would become targets of the abuse. She said she was afraid that she would have to face this level of harassment for her entire career.
