A man is in critical condition in hospital following a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Kildare last night.
It happened shortly after 9.20pm last night on the R418 at Fontstown Cross between Athy and Kilcullen. The motorcyclist, a man aged 20, was seriously injured and brought to Tallaght University Hospital where he remains in critical condition.The road is currently closed as a full examination of the crash will be conducted by Garda Forensic Collison Investigators.They are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was in the area and may have dashcam footage.
