Gardaí are trying to piece together what happened, but It is understood the injured man was involved in an altercation with at least two others, during which he received a serious head injury.
He was rushed to Cork University Hospital. The scene is currently preserved for technical examination and investigations are ongoing. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward and for any person with camera footage to make it available to them. Anyone with information is asked to contact Togher Garda Station on 021 494 7120, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
As of yet, we don't know who attacked this man, but RTE in general isn't allowed to give the nationality of the attacker in the majority of attacks now. It's hush hush time because 99% of them aren't from Ireland. Importing scum at this stage
