A man has been hospitalised following what gardaí have referred to as a “reckless endangerment incident” on Hyde Road in Limerick on Tuesday.
Following this altercation, a man was struck by a vehicle on Hyde Road, which failed to remain at the scene. The man presented to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening. No other injuries have been reported from the shocking incident. A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward, especially those who were present in the Hyde Road area between 5pm and 5:30pm and observed a Grey Nissan Qashqai in the vicinity.
