A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with a fatal road crash which took place in Co Tipperary yesterday

A man in his 60s died, while a woman in her 60s received non-life threatening injuries in the two-car crash, which happened at Ballyhiskey, Carrigatoher, Nenagh shortly before 1pm yesterday afternoon.

The driver of the second car failed to remain at the scene.They have appealed for any road users who may have camera footage and were travelling on the N7 between Nenagh and Birdhill between 12:30pm and 1:15pm, to make it available to gardaí.
