Man arrested for charging Gardaí in Dundalk with a 4x4

A man who fled across the border into Northern Ireland after charging at Gardaí in a 4x4 vehicle has been arrested and charged in connection with endangerment of a Garda.

Following the incident, the driver, a man in his 30s, then fled across the border into Northern Ireland. The incident occurred on 21 May, and the man is due to appear before Dundalk District Court at some stage today .
