Gardaí in Co Kerry are investigating a two-car crash near Killarney on Tuesday in which two people were hospitalised.Two people were injured as a result of the collision. The driver of one vehicle, a man aged in his 50s, was transferred by air ambulance to Cork University Hospital for treatment of injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
The other vehicle's driver was taken to University Hospital Kerry to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. A technical examination of the scene was carried out by Forensic Collision Investigators which led to the closure of the road for a time. The road has since reopened.
