Love Island couple split days after leaving villa as 'unsurprised' fans rejoice

One of the strongest couples from the 2023 summer series of Love Island have already split - just days after leaving the villa.

The news comes as Scott who was previously coupled with Catherine lost his place on the ITV dating show - which airs on Virgin Media in Ireland - alongside Abi.Lifting the lid on Catherine and Elom's split, an insider revealed: "The pair struggled to make it work in the real world and barely saw each other since the show ended.

Asked if he wanted a relationship during a recent podcast, the Love Island star replied: "Do you know what it is, like..." before the pair erupted into laughter and Catherine asked, "Is that a no?" Welsh footballer Scott van-der-Sluis found himself booted from the ITV2 show this evening when him and Abi Moores were chosen by their fellow Islanders as the least compatible couple. The pair were selected out of the bottom three - which also included Mitchell and Ella B and Zachariah and Molly - as the least compatible and were sent home.

Now, Scott has had his say on whether he thinks there is hope for him and Catherine outside the show.
