Winning €1 million Lotto Plus 1 ticket sold in Cabra, north Dublin

National Lottery bosses revealed that the lucky quick pick ticket was sold at the Spar store on the New Cabra Road in Cabra, Dublin 7.

"It was a nice bit of good news to get in these times. So much of our business comes from local people in the Cabra area so it’s exciting to think that it could be one of them – fingers crossed it is. "If you are this lucky winner please sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize."

A spokesman added: “Our priority is always the safety of our employees and our players. The necessary preparations have been put in place so that all draw activity will take place as scheduled, with Lotto, EuroMillions and Daily Million draws being conducted as normal.
