Donald Trump Ireland visit 2019: Live updates as US President 'announces Irish visit'

The Green Party has already announced that they will be protesting against the US leader’s visit.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Green Party said: “Donald Trump is coming to Ireland from the 5th - 8th of June. “These policies do not reflect Irish people’s values - we need to show him and the world that this is not normal. Decency, integrity and fact-based politics still exist and are worth defending.
