Limerick's abject defeat to Kilkenny has shocked many, but the RTE pundit believes John Kiely's side are still the best in the land.

Donal Óg Cusack still believes Limerick are the team to beat in this year's All Ireland hurling championship, but has raised concerns about a number of "vulnerabilities" that need to be addressed.

Analysing the game on RTE's Allianz League Sunday, Óg Cusack pointed out a number of issues with the Limerick defence, namely, the high amount of goal chances that they presented to Kilkenny."Limerick showed a surprising uncertainty and a surprising vulnerability in defence," began Óg Cusack on RTE's League Sunday.

"There were very few positives. Cathal O'Neill was outstanding. Peter Casey was good but ruined it by that sending off - and he deserved to get sent off. "And even though Limerick are going for six-in-a-row in Munster, they're going for five All-Irelands, they're still not above analysis.
