The first of the refurbished accommodation units will come on stream 'in a couple of weeks'

Leo Varadkar has revealed that the Government is to create 10,000 more spaces for refugees in refurbished accommodation.

"Nearly 100,000 people have come to Ireland in the past year, mostly from Ukraine, but also from other parts of the world. "The modulars are now a reality, the first ones are ready for occupation now in Cork and we’re going to scale them up as well.
