Former Everton prospect Tom Cannon had attracted interest from the England Under-21 set-up.

Leicester City striker Tom Cannon has been included in John O’Shea’s squad for the June friendlies against Hungary and Portugal.

O’Shea on Tuesday named a 26-strong squad for the friendlies against Hungary at the Aviva Stadium on June 4 and Portugal in Aveiro on June 11.
