Taking to Instagram, Laura admitted that she immediately fell in love with the “heartbreaking script” the minute she read it.“My first lead in a feature, hopefully not my last,” she shared. “Getting to call this work was a treat and being able to share the screen with some brilliant female talent like Frances, Asia and Erin – Tam we didn’t get to share a scene so had to make do with a Cosmo in the hotel instead!The film follows a woman who lies and says she is the lost mother of a dying child. But her words change her life and push her down a rabbit hole of deceit.

In 2022, she appeared in Danny Robins’ supernatural play 2:22 A Ghost Story, alongside Busted’s Matt Willis.
