Ivana Bacik has restated Labour 's goal to build one million homes in a decade - 50,000 new builds and 50,000 retrofits per year - should they be in government. Russian president Vladimir Putin has said that the gunmen who attacked a Moscow concert hall attempted to escape to Ukraine , a claim denied by Kyiv . Kyiv has accused Moscow of targeting its energy infrastructure as part of an overnight attack where 88 missiles and 63 Shahed drones were fired at Ukraine .

The attack, with several gunmen attacking a concert hall on the edge of Moscow, is the deadliest Russian terrorist event in recent years.
